 CNC Machining CNC machining is rapildy becoming the industry standard for efficient manufacturing of batch parts. After the part is drawn in 3-dimensions then processed through powerful computer aided machining software, it can be repeat machined faster at a lower cost. Also, much tighter tolerances are maintained throughout a batch run. A 32-pocket automatic tool changer greatly reduces setup and changeover times. With a 50Hp spindle motor and 50 taper tool holder this is a substantial machine with a working envelope of 75"x35"x28" and up to 4250 lbs. With internally cooled ball screws, accuracy of .0002" can easily be achieved, and repeatability up to .0001". Overhead 5-ton capacity crane access to the machine bed increases productivity.
